Alka Mishra

I am a qualified Maths teacher with an MA and B.Ed., specialising in helping upper primary and middle school students build a strong and confident foundation in mathematics. I work online, making it easy and flexible for learners to get the support they need from home.

My lessons are structured and clear, moving step by step so students really understand each topic before we move on. I focus on explaining concepts in simple language, using examples and guided practice to turn tricky ideas into something manageable.

During each session, we work through problems together, then give students plenty of independent practice to strengthen their skills. I encourage questions and create a calm, supportive environment where mistakes are treated as part of learning, not something to fear.

Over time, this approach helps students become more confident, organised, and independent in Maths. Parents can expect regular, focused sessions that aim for steady, visible progress in both understanding and attitude towards the subject.
